I’m Not Receiving Tango Notifications on iPhone (via Onside Store)

If you’re not receiving Tango notifications on your iPhone, there are a few things to check.

Please note: Tango is currently unavailable on the Apple App Store. If you’re an iPhone user in the EU, you can install Tango via the official Onside Store. The notification steps below apply only to iPhone users who installed Tango through the Onside Store (EU region).

If you’re outside the EU and accessing Tango through your mobile browser, iOS push notifications are not supported.


Check iPhone Notification Settings (Onside App Only)

These steps apply only if you installed the Tango app on your iPhone via the Onside Store.

To enable notifications on your iPhone:

  1. Open the Settings app

  2. Tap Notifications

  3. Scroll down and tap Tango

  4. Enable Allow Notifications

  5. Make sure Alert Style When Unlocked is set to Banners or Alerts

  6. Adjust additional settings as needed:

    • Show in Notification Center

    • Sounds

    • Badge App Icon

    • Show on Lock Screen


Check Notification Settings Inside the Tango App

Next, make sure notifications are enabled within the Tango app itself.

  1. Open the Tango app

  2. Tap your Profile photo to open the profile menu

  3. Tap Settings

  4. Find Notifications and Sounds

  5. Enable the notification options you want to receive

If you’ve completed the steps above and are still not receiving notifications, please contact our Support team for further assistance.

Keep in mind:

  • iOS notifications are supported only for the Tango app installed via the Onside Store (EU users)

  • Users accessing Tango through a mobile browser will not receive iOS push notifications
