Common Reasons You May Not Receive Calls or Texts

Network Connection Issues

Your device may be connected to a weak or unstable network.

  • Try switching to a different Wi-Fi network

  • If you’re using mobile data, try connecting to Wi-Fi instead

  • Make sure your internet connection is stable

Background App Settings

Other apps running in the background can sometimes interfere with calls or messages.

  • Force close any apps you’re not using

  • Make sure Tango is allowed to run in the background

  • Ensure Tango has not been force closed

Blocked Contacts

Check that the person you’re trying to communicate with has not been accidentally added to your Blocked list.

Device Notification and Call Settings

Your device settings may prevent calls or messages from coming through.

  • Make sure notifications and call permissions are enabled for Tango

  • Review your device’s sound, notification, and background activity settings

For detailed instructions, see the relevant guides below:

  • For Android devices
